The GREMAW Story

Bidding farewell to life at College, the batch had just started off exploring the world outside. At this juncture giving back to college in monetary terms or experience wise was simply a dream, as freshers we had a challenge to establish ourselves in the community and grow. With the urge of giving back to college, the G9 team understood the best thing to do at that point was to keep in touch.

As a result GREMAW was introduced. The idea was to have a batch party and to felicitate our teachers and individuals whom we believed did a prodigious service to the college. The name GREMAW was coined symbolizing the college colours — Green, Maroon and White. 2009 December was simply the beginning. GREMAW became an annual event in the G9 calendar. Every year till this date G9 gathered during the latter part of the year — the idea is simply to keep in touch and remind ourselves of the beautiful beginnings we had during life at Mother Zahira.

G9 EXCO has some great plans for the future. We have seen our batch growing from a bunch of school leavers to Directors, Doctors, Engineers, Consultants, Lecturers and successful Entrepreneurs. Past few years though we have tried our best to contribute to College in many ways, we believe it is now the right time to approach a little stronger with the guidance of Zahira OBA.
