Akurata Piyapath 2 (2025)

The second Akurata Piyapath, in March 2025, carried the same approach south. The handover was held at Vidyaloka Maha Vidyalaya in Thelawilla, Hambantota, where 450 students many from farming families received books and stationery. Three times the number reached in the first year.

The method did not change, because it was working. One school, chosen because someone there asked. Supplies bought against what the school actually said it needed. Funds raised within the batch and from batchmates' own companies, with the collection posted openly as it grew. Batchmates on the ground for the distribution rather than a cheque in the post.

The edition also found its place in a larger year. Alongside Water for Life and the G9 Ramadan Appeal, Akurata Piyapath was one of three causes the batch carried through Ramadan 2025 education, water, and direct support for batchmates in difficulty.

It was dedicated to the memory of Marhoom Naveed Maharoof our beloved batchmate.

Two editions in, more than six hundred students had been reached across two provinces. More than the totals, the batch now had something it could repeat.
