About This Edition

The very first edition - 'G9 Cricket 6's', 12 teams, one championship. G9 Thunders (capt. Mohammed Hayaazim) beat G9 Warriors in the final; G9 Combats 3rd, G9 Empereros 4th. Hilam AZ was Man of the Series.

The G9 Cricket League is the batch's flagship inter-team softball cricket tournament, running every year since 2017. It started as 'G9 Cricket 6's' and grew season after season into a professionally-run event - culminating in 2025's 'The Rumble', which introduced a first-ever live player auction and destination-themed teams.
