G9 Cricket 6's
This is yet another fellowship event initiated by G9 to keep the members together and build the brotherhood. 12 teames 72 Players from G9 battled for one champion trophy. It was a rollicking time for the G9 members who battled with their own group mates and enjoyed the day.
While “G9 Thunders” Led by Hayazim clinched the Champion trophy, “G9 Worriers” led by Arafath became the Runner up. “G9 Combats” & “G9 Emperors” were awarded 3rd & 4th Places respectively. Best Batsman awards was given to Jiham of “G9 Thunders” for his magnificent batting skills. Rifkhan of “G9 Blasters” was awarded the Best Bowler for his undefendable bowling skills. Man of the Series award was given to the Captain of “G9 Emperors” Hilam for his wonderful overall performance and leadership showcased.
The tournament took place on the 22nd of January, 2017 at Prison Grounds, Colombo.
